"Bird of Paradise Nectar"

Bird of Paradise produce nectar
in a gland at the base of their flower.
Hummingbirds and other nectar-eaters
dip their beak in this succulent center of the flower,
drinking in their sustenance for life.
The fullest flowers attract their focus,
for in them they find all they need.
