What are giclee reproductions?

The Giclees (pronounced zhee-klays) I offer are professionally created by a
local company specializing exclusively in digital fine art reproduction. They take
a high-resolution digital SCAN of my original paintings, which provides better
color and tone accuracy than images captured with digital cameras.

I personally color-correct and proof the original image which is then printed
with archival light-fast pigment inks on canvas. Each giclee is coated with a
UV protector and hand varnished with Dammar Varnish.

Each giclee is hand-signed and numbered. They are available framed or unframed.
Unframed giclees will be shipped in a mailing tube. (They arrive ready for stretching
and framing.) Framed giclees are shipped with protective packaging. Shipping charges
are additional and are the actual cost of shipping.
